Cadmus: First Release

Posted by Jay on Oct 24th, 2009

As promised Cadmus is available for public use. The premise with Cadmus is simple; cut down the noise in your stream and give you relevant content in real time. You can try it by simply signing in using your Twitter account, add some of your other services and Cadmus does the rest. It even tells you how many of your updates it filtered out.

It is staggering how much noise comes through all the social media services we use. I added  my Twitter, FriendFeed and a couple of RSS feeds and below are my last week’s stats from Cadmus.

Related Stats

So I got a total of 11,703 updates through all my services in the last week and 3,049 of those were related or similar items.

We are constantly improving our filtering algorithm and sorting your updates by relevance is coming soon.

Stay tuned!

Cadmus – A Real Time Filtering Service

Posted by Jay on Oct 15th, 2009

Cadmus

We are currently working on releasing our real time filtering service on its own. The idea is that you can add your services and we will group the similar posts within your stream and cut down on the noise. Currently, you can see it in action within ViewPoint but we are opening it up by providing an API anybody can use.

Stay tuned!
